18. VENTHÔNE - VENTHÔNE CASTLE

The municipality Venthône with its dry and sunny climate is located on the south side of the Berner Alps in the heart of the Central Valais. The castle and the church, from the 13th century ,overview the Rhône Valley.

South you can find the vineyards with different grape varieties and in the north are the prairies and forests. In the north of the municipal boundary the Bisse Benou flows between pinetrees. Venthône is an ideal departure for vairous walks.
